Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights advocate and philanthropist. She has graduated from Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. Her long professional career has received international praise for her accomplishments in international law and in the field that deals with human rights. Some of her clients are the people of Armenia who is battling the Turkish government over the acceptance and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in the year 2014 and immediately became a household-name in popular entertainment. Prior to this, she was established herself as a household name in the legal world because of her capacity to advocate for clients. Her expertise ranges between social justice and human rights issues to representing corporations in the negotiation process or litigating cases involving federal regulations.
