Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The only child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. By the time she was 16years old, Alexandra was able to land the leading roles in numerous TV dramas. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Over the years Alexandra has worked in several notable international and national projects. This includes the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical mini-series Napoleon and many more. Additionally, she was part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
